We had a chance to catch up with our friends, Claudia, Marco and Sylvia and their family. It was a nice evening as Claudia translated the service to English. We got to finish off the evening with a birthday celebration. Love our worldwide family!
The Jewish Memorial in Berlin.
A nice morning in Berlin today for church. We’re staying in Mitte, about a 20 minute walk to the congregation. It’s humbling to walk across Bernauer Straße, across what was the wall, from Ackerstraße.
Such a welcoming congregation and nice to make some new friends. Definitely a familiar feeing of the congregation though it’s some 5600+ miles away from San Francisco. It was good for Nikki to brush up on some German (she learned to speak in high school) and not a bad think that many spoke English.
