Light at the end of the tunnel!
We finally got power back late this evening. During the day, we celebrated to get an open window again. Maybe before the night is out, we’ll get water back too.
The folks here have been great. And walking around the island today, a lot of destruction, but folks seem okay and just cleaning up. Ready to fix things again and continue on. Sounds like the worst hurricane since 15 years ago.

A tasty, new “dish”!
It’s called Hurricane Pasta!
Basically, an onion, pasta, chicken and spices. Kinda’ a collection of what you have and need to cook before the power goes out.
The plastic bag is optional, but as both a serving dish and storage container, it adds to the post-hurricane experience.
